HTML was developed by Sir Tim Berners-Lee in late 1991. HTML5 is the current and latest version of HTML which was published in 2012.

CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) is used to decorate the websites. CSS basically demonstrates the presentation of web pages along with colors, fonts, layouts. It was created by Håkon Wium Lie on October 10, 1994. The update version of CSS is CSS3. CSS also controls the screen size of websites on different devices. 

Graphics Design is another key tool of web design, where HTML and CSS provide shapes, interfaces, colors, fonts etc, but image must be created, so to design any image must need graphics design. Without well decorated image, websites never look attractive, and web designer are focused to create nice outlook of websites.
